The Differences Between Epoxy Resin and Stickers

Definitions

Both epoxy resin and stickers are printed products that can carry patterns and text, but they differ in manufacturing processes and materials. - Epoxy resin is a printed product that injects glue into patterns or text to form a 3D raised effect. It can be divided into two types: UV epoxy and white glue epoxy. In terms of appearance, UV epoxy is transparent, while white glue epoxy is white and translucent. - Stickers, as the name suggests, are printed products that can be pasted on the surface of objects. They are generally made of materials such as PVC or PET, with a matte or glossy film covering the surface, which makes them durable, resistant to damage, and able to maintain vibrant colors without fading for a long time.

Materials

The material of epoxy resin is generally resin, which can create a three-dimensional effect for the glue coated on the carrier, with different thicknesses and hardness levels. - Stickers are mostly made of plastic materials like PVC or PET. After lamination processing, their surface is smooth and waterproof, while also reinforcing the paper itself to prevent tearing and other damage.

Application Scenarios

Due to its prominent 3D raised effect, epoxy resin is suitable for occasions where patterns need to be highlighted and visual effects enhanced, such as mobile phone cases, computer shells, car logos, etc. Stickers are more suitable for scenarios requiring color presentation, such as promotional activities, product stickers, labels, and more.

As printed products, epoxy resin and stickers differ in materials, processes, application scenarios, etc. The selection should be made according to specific circumstances to achieve the best printing effect.
