Crystal labels, also known as UV transfer stickers, are made by using a UV flatbed printer to spray white ink, varnish, and other materials layer by layer onto a crystal film with a backing adhesive. Then, a transfer film is applied, and finally, the pattern is lifted and transferred onto the outermost surface of the object using the film. The crystal label can be stuck at will, torn off and used immediately. It is convenient and fast, solving the problem of printing irregular shapes.
01 The production process of crystal labels
(1) Crystal labels, also known as uv transfer stickers, are suitable for printing on varnish uv machines.
(2) The crystal labels are divided into A and B films. Print the A film first.
(3) Use tape to fix the laid A film on the flat plate to prevent the edges from lifting up and to avoid scratching the printer nozzle.
(4) After printing film A, cover film B and then cut it. First, peel off the bottom film of film A and stick it on the surface of the object, then peel off film B and the production is completed.
(5) Besides its excellent pattern effect, crystal also has the advantages of being able to remove the film to leave images and text, being scratch-resistant, weather-resistant, easy to stick, environmentally friendly, having a good 3D texture, being waterproof and wear-resistant, having bright colors, and having a wide range of applications.
02 Materials suitable for crystal label
(1) It is recommended that crystal labels be applied to hard and smooth surface materials, such as packaging boxes, tea cans, paper cups, notebooks, iron cans and aluminum boxes, plastics, stainless steel, and ceramics.
(2) It is not recommended to stick it on soft material items, such as fabric, leather, silicone, tempered glass, glazed ceramics or rough-frosted product surfaces, etc. Although it can be stuck on, the firmness and durability will be greatly reduced.
03 Service life of crystal stickers
The material to which the crystal label is adhered and the new environment it is in need to be taken into consideration. If the crystal label is pasted on a hard and smooth surface material and is in an indoor normal temperature environment, theoretically speaking, it can be used for a long time. If it is an outdoor environment exposed to sun, rain, long friction or high-temperature water immersion (such as tableware and hot water cups), there is a risk of peeling and cracking during cleaning and heating, and the firmness and durability will be reduced.
04Which industries are crystal labels applicable to
The industries where crystal labels are most widely used should be the packaging and gift industry as well as the logo marks of various companies, followed by the application of stickers on personal items such as household water cups.
